Thanks to all who responded about their experiences with Texas Roadhouse.
The replies were more positive than negative but one individual responded with
"this is a chain that gives a lot of latitude to the chef. So what is GF in
one Texas Roadhouse may not be made the same way and may not be GF in a
different location. It is a double edged sword. Since they have a lot of freedom,
the chef can work with you to make you a great GF selection. But since they
have a lot of freedom, there is a lack of consistency as you go from location
to location." Thus, there were also be diverse experiences. It seems,
overall, that people ordered plain steaks, plain baked potatoes and/or sweet
potatoes and house salads. However, people did say these were good. So since I need
to go to one for a business event, I'll call ahead to find out what they
have and let them know I'll be coming with a large group. I'll also bring along
my own salad dressing and any toppings I might want for my potato (I like
spicy so will probably bring some Old Bay seasoning!).

If anyone would like a document with all the comments (as opposed to this
general summary), please let me know. Thanks!
