Hey everyone!

We have found a fabulous cookbook: Indian Vegetarian Cooking from an
American Kitchen by Vasantha Prasad. It has a lot of vegetable curries and
some rice and pasta dishes that can be easily adapted with some good pasta.
Everything is fresh, you do quite a bit of chopping but it is well worth it.
Many of the recipes use lots of ginger, garlic and onions with potatoes,
tomatoes, yogurt. You will probably have to buy some additional spices like
garam masala, cardamom, turmeric, etc... stuff most people don't usually
keep around. The book also has quite a few recipes in the back that we can't
have as celiacs like cream of wheat dishes and some of their breads....but
we bought it at Borders for $18 and think it is well worth it! Our favorite
recipe is Chickpeas in Tomato, Ginger and Garlic Sauce (minus the green
chiles).

Of course, I have no financial interest in this cookbook or the
author....just a satisfied customer!
