I am aware that the general concensus on Altoid MINTS is that they are
GF. This evening I picked up a package of Altoids GUM and observed from
the ingredients a listing of "wheat maltodextrin".

Interestingly, I had never run across WHEAT maltodextrin until some of the
recent posts mentioned that it is also in Lays Kettle Cooked Salt &
Vinegar chips (Dec. 20). Is this an ingredient we will see with more
frequency?

Also, I am assuming that since wheat is identified as the source of the
maltodextrin that this ingedient is problematic. I would appreciate
confirmation of my assumption, and I will post any feedback that will be
useful.

Thanks.

Todd
