A couple of questions from a GF newbie:

1. I do have a food processor (with a dough hook) but I do not have a bread
machine. I'm wondering how necessary a bread machine is. Do people have
good luck just mixing in the food processor and then baking it themselves,
as opposed to using the bread machine?

2. Similarly, is a pasta machine necessary, or do people have good luck
rolling and cutting flat noodles by hand? As far as machines go, are hand
crank ones okay, or do models that mix the dough and extrude it
electrically work better?

I'll summarize responses.

Thanks,
