I just came back from shopping at the Camarillo, CA Trader Joe's and they
have listed "gluten free" on the shelf/price labels, as appropriate, on
many of their items, as well as other diet notations such as low fat or
sodium free. The manager thought that others, esp. in the Western region,
were or are going to be doing the same thing. This was done with the
assistance of the Celiac Disease Foundation, Studio City, CA. The info is
also listed on a new handout, available at the store. A big thanks to
Trader Joe's and CDF. It's great to go down the aisle and easily be able to
spot the GF items.
