Hi Listmates,
I've been looking for a gluten free oatmeal. Oatmeal itself is gluten
free, but is cross contaminated in milling. I researched McCann's site and
found the following info below. My question is. Does anyone know of a pure
oatmeal milling company?

Gluten Free?
Are McCann's Oat products gluten free?
All McCann's oats are processed in a dedicated oatmeal mill. In the supply
chain, there is a possible cross contamination with other grains but we would
reckon that the admix is less than 0.05%. We do manufacture a range of gluten
free flour and bread mixes so we do have some expertise in this area. As a
result, we cannot guarantee that McCann's oats are totally gluten free and we
recommend that consumers use their own judgment as to whether they wish to
use the oatmeal or not.
