Hi listmates,
My 3 year old son and I are both celiacs. We are planning on going to a few festivals this fall and I am wondering how I find information about foods such as snow cones, etc that are available at festivals. Some foods obviously contain gluten ... but how do I go about finding out if, for example, the snow cone syrup is gf before we get there?

I would appreciate any advice parents can offer me about handling these types of situations ... where food is part of the fun. Can I assume that all snow cones syrups are gf? Are there only a few companies that make these syrups ... so that I can just call them all and ask? Help.

Thanks very much,
Lori
