I have been gluten-free since August 2003, and for most of that time I have
had minimal problems until recently. I cannot seem to get completely free
of the Diarehha. My diet is very basic and that has worked for so long and
now I am dumbfounded. Example: dinner last night was Outback( which I had
done many times before with no problem till lately)...steak , salad with No
croutons ..ranch dressing, sweet potato; snack before bedtime was Malt O
Meal Dynobytes cereal with lactaid; breakfast this morning was Jif Creamy
peanut butter sandwich on gf bread....within half hour of breakfast diarreha
occured again. I did have coffee with lactaid.
Is there the chance I am lactose intolerant? Even if I am am....I am using
lactaid. What is the usual time from ingestion of lactose to reaction?
Could this be the casein in the lactaid. I am so clueless.
Any and all thoughts and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kenny
