I had written about a friend having the endomysial abs., ser test, which
was sent to the Mayo Clinic ..... asking what it was and if a negative result
would be conclusive.... Here are the answers...

2 - Gene test from Enterolab
5 - Stool tests from finerhealth.com
1 - suggested betterhealthusa.com for blood test
2 - suggested U. of Maryland
2 - suggested Dr. Joe Murray at Mayo Clinic (hey, this is where the test
went!)

One person wrote saying you can get a negative reading and still have CD. A
long list was included about this.

Another reported false negatives are common in 30 to 50% of the cases.

One said you could even test positive after being GF for one year.

One said all their blood tests were negative, but a biopsy was positive.

One said they were sick for 3 years with negative tests... asked for a
gliadin ab and it was positive. Second test was same.
