Last night my husband and I went to Charlie Brown's Steak House for the
first time (in Tinton Falls, NJ). I tried the grilled salmon and mashed
potatoes. The potatoes were like Mom's but the salmon was swimming in
butter and a bit over-done. However, all foods seemed to be GF as indicated
by their online menu (I had no reaction) and the salad bar was extensive.
But, if you have an Outback near you, I'd choose Outback over Charlie
Brown's. The staff at my local Outback (Middletown, NJ) are very aware of
celiac and the GF diet. The service is always excellent, and the food is of
the highest quality. Last night at CB's my husband's steak was of mediocre
quality and his baked potato was underdone. The service was very poor.
