Hello,

I would like to thank everybody who responded. I appreciate it very much. I
was also hoping to try and find restaurants other than the normal chains
that offer an alternative gf menu, but when traveling its nice to know they
are there.

Thanks again,

Betty

"I live in Reno and we have:

Trader Joe's
Wild Oats
PF Chang's
Outback Steakhouse
In-N-Out

We have had great luck at:
Brick's
Francis' Asian Bistro

If you stay at a casino, they all have buffets.
I have never personally eaten at one, but I am sure they all have
made-to-order omlettes, fruit, etc. Quizno's is easy - they will put your
turkey/cheese/etc in a cup for a quick lunch. "

"Here is a reply from a friend of mine with Celiac in Reno.

PF Changs has a gluten free menu if you ask for it, and Dandelion Deli is
very accomodating. I always do ok at Mexican restaurants when I order
fajitas with corn tortillas."

">>I live in Reno - we have a PF Chang's, Outback
(they all have GF menus) and we had a great
experience at the Sage Creek Grill next door to
Wild Oats. We also have a Trader Joe's and many
other restaurants that would be willing to
            accommodate. Have fun!

            >>Try going to www.goodhealthpublishing.com for a list of 59 =
            national/regional
restaurants and their lists of gluten/wheat free items. There's
also
            a
gluten free dining card that can be presented to restaurant
            personnel to
            ease the ordering process.

Another person also mentioned Outback and Carrabas."

"There is a Hyatt in Reno. I have never been to Reno, but I have been very
happy with the cooperativeness of the chefs/kitchen staff at the other
Hyatts I have been to. The Hyatt tends to use high quality/ fresh
ingredients and very little wheat- unforetunately the food is expensive."
