Hi everyone,

I have a friend who is being evaluated for Celiac disease. She has been diagnosed with IBS for years, has osteoporosis and arthritis symptoms.she can't seem to stop losinng weight. She recently had anti-endomysial testing done and it was negative. Also her TTG values were 29.8 (considered weak positive). her gastro said he thinks she isn't a celiac but scheduled a biopsy.

My friend would like a referral to a "Celiac knowledgable" Gastroenterologist in the Boston-metrowest area. Does anyone have a Dr. they can recommend? We only deal with a pediatric gastro so I couldn't help her.

Thank you,

Susan in MA
