Thank you all for your help!! Mary is doing much better, her lungs
are clear, congestion is gone, she's keeping down food(brat diet) and
is cutting 4 teeth!! And she is sleeping better, since she's off of
the Albuterol (made her hyper!), and all other meds except her iron
drops and the occasional Tylenol. (Finally!! whew!!)

One person asked if I was sure she had stomach flu, yep, she gave it
to me, hubby and brother in law!! She is the sharing kind!

Here is a summary:

Brat diet - the general consensus was the T was for toast, 'tho some
suggested Tea, obviously both need to be GF!! I am skipping the "T"
because her bread has eggs, and I don't know if tea would help. (She
doesn't have diarrhea, but constipation, and that is improving.) It
was also suggested that I go 4 days between new foods, instead of 3,
which sounds good to me, the more time between will help us be sure
of what she's reacting to.

Some notes:
***
The BRAT diet, as described in the Boston Children's Hospital Health
Encyclopedia is a diet to help stop diarrhea..... All for bulking-
to stop intestinal upset...
 ***
One of my doctors told me BRAT for bananas, rice,
applesauce, and tea. The tannic acid in the tea calms the bowels. I
found this to be very true in stopping the really watery diarrhea.

Gerber notes:
***
I haven't personally checked on the status of Gerber but I do know that
in her latest cookbook *SPECIAL DIET SOLUTIONS* Carol Fenster recommends
Gerber 1st foods as replacement for eggs or fats in some of her recipes,
which leads me to believe the 1st foods at least are just that, pure
fruit and veggies.
***
I also did a search on Gerber, and found their site, and if you go to
the following URL, it will give you an option under technical product
info to choose a listing of egg-free, milk-free and WHEAT-free, but
not GLUTEN-free( thus all the oatmeals are on the list). But it is a
starting point, as Mary is also sensitive to milk. Here is the URL:
