Hi all,
I'm sitting here reading my celiac listserv mail, and
eating breakfast... a piece of Food for Life
Rice-Almond Bread, toasted once, buttered, cinnamoned
and sugared, and then toasted again til the sugar
bubbles.
(I avoided purchasing Food For Life bread for a year,
it looked so dense and felt so heavy. I've also been
trying to make cinnamon rolls all year, a lot of work
with little results.)
Then I realized something; this bread, because it is
sweet (not that great for sandwiches), tasted much
like the cinnamon rolls I was trying to make! I'm so
happy! It is so easy! Just let go of the "roll"
concept and eat! I may even make a 'cinnabon' orange
glaze and dribble it on top sometime (microwave some
powdered sugar, vanilla, a little orange/lemon juice
and maybe butter/margarine).
So silly, but I just wanted to share a good morning.

no, I don't work for Food For Life, just admitting
that some packaged gf bread can be good.
