Thank all who responded so much! The overwhelming majority of you advise that
I should go see a gastroenterologist and be rediagnosed, even though I was
diagnosed in 1985 by less accurate methods. I am going to begin this process
as soon as possible, and hope that it may be over with as soon as possible.

Only one person who responded recommended that I stay on my current diet
because they didn't think I should try to eat more gluten and make myself
sick in order to get a diagnosis. If you live in the tidewater Virginia, or
Richmond area and have names of good gastroenterologists to see, I would
still appreciate hearing from you! Thanks,
Meredith
