Thank you so much for all of the information on Ft Lauderdale that you
provided. We should be able to have a good week there with no problems.

Health Food Stores mentioned are as follows:

There is a Wild Oats health food store on Sunrise Blvd just west of A1A
that carries a lot of GF foods. (There is a Wild Oats market on both the
east and west sides of town.)

There is an excellent health food store across the Galeria Shopping
Center near A1A. (I wonder if it is the Wild Oats since A1A was
mentioned.)

There are Whole Foods Markets on both the east and west sides of town.

There is a good health food store in Ft Lauderdale/Plantation called
Bread of Life.

There is a Whole Foods Market in Aventura (about 30 minutes south) which
has a huge selection and GF millet bread. (Call ahead or get there
really early for the millet bread.)

Recommended restaurants are as follows:

Steak & Ale restaurant chain was mentioned for lobster tail.

Islamorada Fish Company has many good items and a helpful wait staff.

Outback Steakhouse is at the 17th Street causeway.

Cafe Arugala on the east side of town.

Max's restaurants on both sides of town.

Roy's restaurant in Boca Raton.

Ark Restaurant on Griffin Road out towards Davie is an all-you-can-eat
buffet. There are many items you can't eat, but the ones that are GF
are wonderful. Thursday thru Saturday is the best for the buffet with
roast beef, ham, turkey and lamb carving stations and crab, shrimp and
mussels. They also have a full bar. It is about $19 per person.

Publix supermarkets have a gourmet section that carries quite a few GF
foods -- rice crackers, Boars Head Products (which almost all of them
are GF). Genoa salami, regular bologna, pepper ham, black forrest ham,
and swiss cheese were mentioned.

Thank you again for all of your help.

Have a Great GF Holiday Season!
