Dear list,

I have been prescribed Prothiaden (a tricyclic anti-depressant) for
fibromyalgia pain and have noticed that my 'celiac-type' diarrhoea has
resumed. I could not find any info on gluten status at the
manufacturer's site (http://home.intekom.com/pharm/knoll/prothiad.html),
does any of you know whether it's gluten free?

Apart from Prothiaden I think I excluded these from the potential
culprit list: Mesasal (mesalasine for IBD), Oroxine (same as Synthroid,
T4 for thyroid), Cytomel (T3 for thyroid), Panadeine forte (pain),
Endone (pain), Restavit (sleeping tablets). I also got a cortisone shot,
but that surely couldn't be it!

Thanks for enlightening thoughts and info!

Niko
