Hi

Words cannot describe the joy I felt when we went into this totally
gluten free bakery and deli last Friday for lunch. Imagine walking into
a restaurant and EVERYTHING in the place is gf - pizza, pot pies, panini
and other sandwiches, cakes, cookies, pies, soups, breads, buns, etc.
This is my husband's (non celiac) and my second time visiting Vancouver
and the Penne Rizo on Cornwall just northwest of the Burrard Bridge. I
had my first ever panini sandwich and it was the best sandwich I've had
in five years (since dx). It was marvelous! Both times my husband has
had the pot pie and states they are as good as he has ever eaten. I
bought over $50 of goodies to take home.

I highly recommend the Penne Rizo. I was soooooo happy that tears came
to my eyes. In fact, it's worth the trip if you are anywhere near
Vancouver. To be able to eat everything you see, rather than about 5%
of the menu is an incredible feeling. And the stuff is good!

I hope they hurry and open another store in the Seattle area as they
promised last year.....
