Hi all!

My mother has invited me to go on a Christmas Markets cruise with her from
Cologne to Basel the end of Nov / beginning of Dec as my Christmas present.
She already spoke with the company running the river boat and they have
promised Gluten Free Casein Free food will be no problem on board. so we've
signed up.

However, the last time I did something like this, lunch was usually
something you did on your own right by the Christmas Markets.

Does anyone have any advice/help for eating/snacking at/near the Christmas
Markets in:
Cologne
Rudesheim
Mainz
Heidelberg
Strasbourg
Basel

Also, does anyone know of a good card I can put in my pocket that explains
Celiac/Gluten in German? THANKS!

I am very excited, but know the last time I went to the Christmas Markets I
enjoyed the roasted nuts, without needing to worry what seasoning was on
them... having been diagnosed with Celiac since I now have to wonder/worry
over such bits of fun.

Again, thanks for all your help!
