Thank you to all of you who responded to my questions about "daring" to
travel to Mazatlan, Mexico. I received 17 replies, and only one thought I
should forget it. Most said to bring some of my own food items, but that
Mexico's basic foods (corn tortillas, rice and beans} are all gf, so I
should have no trouble. It was suggested that I drink the bottled water,
including for brushing my teeth, possibley bring along a filter for the
water, and stay in the "touristy" areas for restaurants. One person warned
me about showering, which could get contaminated water into my mouth. Over
all, they all thought I should go, because my diet should not rule my life.
Good Advice!!
