Yesterday someone posted regarding an article in the NY Times on
autoimmune diseases.  The posting contained the statement, "35% of
celiac children have a second autoimmune disease before the age of 20."
I am shocked and quite frightened by this statement.  I have never heard
this before, and certainly our pediatric gastro did not suggest this.
Does anyone know where this data comes from?
