Dear Listmates,
I have finally received a response from Eagle Family Foods regarding ReaLemon
Juice. According to the Corporate Nutritionist, Katie Kimball, ReaLemon Juice
is GF. I actually spoke with Gail who communicated with Katie Kimball via
e-mail. The phone number for Eagle Family Foods is 1-888-656-3245.

Thanks to all who responded (appx. 15 people). A number of people said they
had used ReaLemon Juice with no ill effects. Many cautioned that just general
contamination in a restaurant might cause symptoms not anything specific in a
meal. No one said that they had had a bad reaction to ReaLemon Juice after
using it. One person said that they had called the company several weeks
earlier and had been told that ReaLemon Juice was NOT GF. I questioned Gail
about this and she said that possibly the responder had not understood what
GF actually meant.

My own confidence level is not at the 100% level with this company because I
spoke with 3 different people in the process of trying to get a good answer
and no one seemed very familiar with the concept of GF. However, responses
indicated that no one had a bad reaction to it. Thanks again for your help.
