Atkins post. I thought the information was worth
repeating.

“Atkins uses ground oat leaves in it products and all
of them do contain gluten.  I argued with them to no
avail....perhaps that's one of the reasons they are in
bankrupcy.”

“The Atkins products never were reliably gf.  3 years
ago I had a gf product list and reacted to most of the
products.  I then found out that they listed any
product under so many ppm gluten as gf, because it was
legal to do so.  I am glad that they are now not
recommending their products to people with celiac
disease.  I would have thought back 3 years ago that,
since they have their own restrictions on the Atkins
diet, the representatives there would be very
understanding of a celiac's position, but infact, they
were not and actually seemed rather rude and
intolerant of where I was coming from.”
