Hello all,

I'm newly on this list, but have been reading the posts and seeing that
people have been asking about a number of different things both local and
international, so I've got the courage to ask this.

While I'm American, I studied Chinese and lived in Taiwan for a year, and
I've had a lifelong love of Chinese food since then. Since being diagnosed
as celiac two year ago, I haven't had Chinese food and crave it. I tried
PF Chang's, but found out two things: 1. it's Americanized Chinese food,
and 2. they have nothing that is both vegetarian and gluten free.

What I'm really looking for is a regular Chinese restaurant in the Boston
are where I can feel safe eating Chinese food. I know the culture of
"don't worry, it's okay" that many say in Chinese restaurants, but there's
actually soy sauce (and gluten) in everything, and I don't feel safe eating
there. I was just in Manhattan and eat at Lilli & Lou's on East 60th and
it was great. I'd love to find something around my area.

Feel free to email me directly, and thanks for the assistance.
