We've (Metro Vancouver) another recently opened new gluten free bakery. It's My Goodness Gluten Free, located conveniently at 235 East Broadway (north side of the street between Main & Cambie, free parking at the rear). Their products are also a wonderful "find" and their website is: www.mygoodnessglutenfree.com.

The Organic Lives restaurant (2nd Avenue & Quebec Street, Vancouver-west side of Quebec) also features numerous gluten free entrees and desserts. www.organiclives.org

We are exceptionally lucky in Vancouver, BC to have so much awareness of celiac disease. I've lost count of the number of restaurant servers who actually knew what celiac disease was when I mentioned I needed to know what items on their menu were gluten free. Some places even have separate gluten free menus or mark on their regular menus which items are gluten free (such as Maple Grill).

Cheers,
Helen
