I was thrilled to see the negative press about acid blocking medications
last night on the news. And, I'm glad Roy posted those two articles
about the dangers of using acid suppressors. I used to work in family
practice. I wanted to scream every time a patient came in asking for the
"little purple pill." Then I want to strangle every time the doctor
prescribed it. (But I didn't.) It seems like half the adult population
in the US is on some form of acid blocking medication. These are very
dangerous medications & they are passed out like candy. There's an
excellent book explaining why stomach is good & should not be suppressed
and offers excellent health building treatments for heartburn, GERD,
gastritis, etc. I've done the protocol & it worked for me. NO more
heartburn or gastritis for me. The book is WHY STOMACH ACID IS GOOD FOR
YOU by Jonathan Wright MD ND.
