Outback steakhouse's have gluten free menus!
I know of at least 3--Northboro (near Worcester toward Boston), Auburn (near
Worcester toward Springfield), Springfield
I'm sure there are many more-look for their locations on line
Look forward to summary.

In the Boston area:
Lucy's in Brookline (very knowlegeable and willing to help)
Casa Blanca in Harvard Square--usually have some GF deserts among other things
The Bay Club in Harvard Square
The Blue Room also in Kendall Squre Cambridge--always have some GF specialities
on the menu but will modify anything.
Blue Ginger in Wellsley--Chef son is has multiple food allergies.
Elephant Walk in both Brookline and Cambridge has GF menu
Spires, very upscale, and well worth it. If you call ahead and ask for it they
will make you a desert.

I do know that the Outback Steakhouse site does have a menu,
that lists which items are GF. I order sushi
often to be safe.

Go to www.outback.com , www.carrabbas.com , www.bonefishgrill.com .
They are all owned by Outback Steakhouse and have gluten free menus and location
maps on their web sites. Print a copy of the menu, take it with you,
and ----------ask for the manager-------. Perhaps there will be one near where
you will be. Good luck.

Try going to www.goodhealthpublishing.com for a list of 59 national/regional
restaurants and their lists of gluten/wheat free items. There's also a
gluten free dining card that can be presented to restaurant personnel to
ease the ordering process.
