i recently had an Rx for Neurontin filled at the local drugstore to try to
stabilize mood swings.
about 45 minutes after ingesting one 300mg capsule, i felt bloated.
i awoke every 45 minutes throughout the night and by the time i got up in
the morning i was more achy, dizzy & groggy than i have been in years.
later that morning i called the pharmacist and had him read off the
ingredients to me... the capsule is made of gelatin, which often contains
MSG. the neurontin itself contained lactose and corn starch, which are both
known to cause reactionsin certain people. neurontin is a fairly common drug
used to treat seizures, bi-polar &/or anxiety. always check the ingredients
before you fill the perscription.

also, i am fairly suspicious now that i may have CD. for the last couple of
months i thought it was an intolerance for soy. i've been eating mostly rice
and meat that i have prepared for months now and feel so much better. after
adding some items to my diet that contained nothing i thought to cause food
intolerance symptoms, i started getting sick again. researched a little
harder this time and found a bunch of info on celiacs. read quite a few
statements saying that for accurate test results, you need to keep gluten in
the diet prior to the tests. i feel every day now like someone is using me
as a punching bag. is there any reason why it even matters if i'm diagnosed
or not? i mean, it would be nice to know the specific cause of 10 years of
suffering and lack of motivation, and i'm fairly certain now that it's food
related, but why should i not just adjust my diet now and forgo the testing?
what are the advantages of knowing 100% that i have CD, as opposed to being
suspicious and just eating GF.

CD are welcome
