When I saw the message re: the frosting I called Duncan Hines.  I was told
that the malt syrup is from wheat.  The only GF frostings are Caramel,
Chocolate, Chocolate Mocha, and Dark Chocolate.  The customer service rep
was very helpful.  He asked if he should relay a message to management. I
said yes, please tell them that many in the celiac community have relied on
their vanilla frosting and their decision to change the recipe is
disappointing.  I told him that every day the celiac community is growing
and we are always looking for "regular" grocery items to use.  Unfortunately
this decision will force many to search for another GF product and will cost
them some business.  Perhaps they may want to reconsider their decision.

I don't know if it will be "heard" or not, but it made me feel good to say
it.
