After going gluten free for a year and half, I had some follow-up blood
tests taken just to check on things and they came back awfully high. My
GLIADIN AB, IGG came back at 43 (moderate to high is considered anything
over 30!) My ANTI-RETICULIN ANTIBODY total is 1:20 (anything under 1:10 is
considered negative). The endomysial antibody IGA did come out negative.

My gastroenterologist said that she suspected my celiac antibodies would
still be positive. I'm just wondering why they would still be so high.
(They are considerably less positive than they were a year and a half ago,
though).

Is it possible I'm still ingesting gluten and that could be the cause? I'm
not an overly sensitive celiac and I do eat in restaurants quite
frequently...I don't pay attention to vinegars, etc.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks for your help!
