The Feb. issue of Allure magazine has a 3 page article named:  "Gluten for
Punishment: Now that the food police have cracked down on dairy, they've
got a new suspect under surveillence:  WHEAT.  But is flour really guilty
as charged."  Although in the article,  they label gluten intolenrance as a
mild form of gastrointestinal distress, they separate that diagnosis from
celiac sprue, at least it is mentioned in a glamour magazine! Kati
