Dear Listmates:

I've recently learned a friend of mine, who was dx'ed with Fibromyalgia several years ago was told she had celiac a year ago. She is not currently following the diet because she said she felt overwhelmed and couldn't deal with it. I'm really trying to encourage her to stick to gluten free (an possibly dairy and soy free but for now I'll take what I can get) but she is half hearted about it. Her recent comments were she was going to try a wheat free and meat free diet to see if it makes her feel better. UGH!

Are there others who are dealing with Fibro. who has seen improvements with the GF diet?
Are there any Internet resources available to help her understand the benefits of GF for her Fibro.?
Any suggestions for how I can encourage my friend to stick to the diet (we live in different States)?
I've  asked before but are the ADULT celiac support groups in Columbus, OH? I know the children's hospital is very active with celiac but I don't think it will go off well with my friend if I tell her to call a children's hospital.

Thank you! As always, I will summarize if I recieve a lot of responses.
