I wrote to Carrabba's about the grill baste and got the following reply:

"Grill baste does contain gluten and it is applied to food as it cooks on
the grill.  Please let the manager know that you want no grill baste and
have the grill cook use a part of the grill that hasn't come into
contact with grill baste."
