FYI, the Agave syrup that I bought (haven't used yet) is Izzy's Organic Blue Agave....and it has the approval label of the glycemic Index Laboratories....and is says that it is safe for diabetics.

Sooooo...Two conflicting agencies saying 1. it's safe or 2. it's not.....Sort of reminds me of the safe gluten level controversy:  20ppm (most organizations) vs zero (one of the celiac organizations).

I bought a small bottle.  I may wait until after my next A1C test and then use it prudently.
