Whoever told you that quinoa is not gluten free was spreading misinformation.
Don't be too quick to accept "facts"; they may not be true.  Quinoa does
notcontain gluten.  It is not related to wheat.  "Quinoa is not a true cereal
grain but is technically the botanicalfruit of the Chenopodium family...It is
an annual herb that grows from three to sixfeet high.

The small seed that in size, shape, and color looks like a cross between
sesame seed and millet grows in large clusters at the end of the stalk."

To let you know I got it from Vance saying about quinoa..I have eaten it and
never had any problems..I think everyone has to be there own judge in eating
quinoa...
