Thank you all for your very quick responses!!!

I sent a message earlier today because I am 8-9 weeks pregnant and am
taking iron supplements that are making me (combined with the pg) very
constipated, and I am miserable.

Here is a summary of the replies I received:

This seems to be a common occurrence! I had quite a few replies from
women who have gone through a similar experience!

- 2 people said Metamucil is GF
- 1 person said Citrucel is not GF
- 1 person recommended FiberCon (said the manufacturer confirmed its GF)
- 1 person recommended glycerin suppositories for quick, effective
relief without side effects.

Several people mentioned that I shouldn't need to take iron supplements
unless I am anemic (CBC done last week showed that I am, which is why my
OB had me start taking the supplements). Also several replies suggested
eating dried organic prunes, lots of greens, and minimizing sugar (I
already have minimized sugar - I seem to be aversive to it with the
morning sickness). Quite a few people also mentioned that increasing
my intake of foods rich in iron should decrease my need for the
supplements (I have, but can't stomach much of them right now).

As for me, right now, I am about to take my first dose of FiberCon.
Ohhhh, I hope it works! Thanks again!!!
