The days of bad GF products that taste like cardboard but serves to give
the right nutrients, are a thing of the past.
A fellow celiac, who is a excellent cook, won the Grand Prize in a
cooking contest with a GF pie. For the pie crust she used a pie shell
from Bette Hagman's second cookbook (More from the Gluten-Free Gourmet).
The pie recipe is called Donna Jo's.
Miss Roben's , PO Box 1434, Frederick, MD 21702, phone (800) 891-0083,
has an excellent biscuit mix. It is easy and tastes wonderful.
There are other fine mixes, but this shows how the quality of food has
improved in the last three years.
