Hi All, and Happy Halloween!

My oldest and dearest friend just moved to Ascutney,
Vermont; I live in Middletown, Connecticut. We're
looking for a point between the two where we can meet
to eat and visit once in a while. 
I'm OK with doing most of the travelling, so Vermont
options are welcome.
