What I understand about thyroid pathology is that there are many things
that can go wrong with this gland: benign nodules that cause hyper- or
hypo-throidism or both, malignancies, thyroiditis caused by diet
insufficiencies, parathyroid problems, problems whose cause is unknown,
and more.

Before we conclude that there is a link between "Thyroid Disease" and
Sprue, it seems we ought to be clear about just what kind of thyroid
problems we are talking about. Since not all thyroid problems appear to
arise from the same underlying disease mechanism, it seems
doubtful whether all such problems could possibly be linked to Sprue.

I am very much interesting in knowing more about the subject; I wonder
just what type of thyroid problem people have seen associated with Sprue?
