One person gave me the Gifts of Nature URL: www.glutenfreefoods.com

Three people told me that McCormick's spices and flavorings are supposed to
be gluten free unless gluten containing ingredients are listed on the
label. One of those peole gave me the Web site for McCormick
(www.mccormick.com), so I pointed my browser there and got their phone
number. I called them (at 1-800-632-5847) and confirmed that
all their extracts (vanilla, almond, etc.) are gluten-free. (The alcohol
in them is man-made, not grain-derived, said the customer service rep.)

Jess pointed out that Schillings spices are gf. Shilling spices are now
McCormick/Schilling (per the McCormick Web site), but pictured products
are labelled just McCormick. Here (copied from that site) is a list of
all their extracts:

Almond, Pure and Imitation
Anise
Banana, Imitation
Black Walnut, Imitation
Brandy, Imitation
Butter Flavor, Imitation
Cherry, Imitation
Coconut, Imitation
Lemon
Maple, Imitation
Mint
Orange
Peppermint
Pineapple, Imitation
Root Beer Concentrate
Rum, Imitation
Strawberry, Imitation
Vanilla, Pure and Imitation
Vanilla, Clear Imitation
Vanilla Butter & Nut, Imitation

Again, thank you for your help!
