Four people said that insurance paid 100% for generic prescriptions. If they
had to get the prescription non generic in order to be GF, insurance would
pay 80% and they, the subscriber, paid the difference.

One person said they could contact the insurance company after purchases
regarding non generic prescriptions and insurance would then pay the
difference to the subscriber.

Two people said that they^Òve found most prescription drugs to be GF.

Three people called the manufacturer of the drugs for themselves before
having a prescription filled. One of these people has the doctor write "Not
to substitute" on the prescription. (I'm guessing that this way insurance
will pay 100%, even if its not generic).

Two people said their doctor will write a substitute prescription that is GF
if they found that the original prescription was not GF. One of these people
have also tried to have prescriptions made that are GF, they were told it
wouldn^Òt be worth it from a time and cost standpoint.

One person said that while the doctor knows what to prescribe for an
ailment, making sure the prescriptions were GF would best be left to the
pharmacist not the doctor. The pharmacist would have the best access to
manufacturers and therefore the best information when making sure a
prescription is GF. This person also said that cost would be up to an
individuals insurance coverage.

One person said they made friends with the pharmacist and therefore the
pharmacist is aware of their needs and is very helpful.
