I recieved approx 10+ responses to my question regarding Bell and Evans turkeys. Everyone said without a doubt that Bell and Evans chickens were fine and were used without incident. All said they would have no problem ordering a turkey as well. This AM, I recieved a response from Bell and Evans.
They say:

Dear Amy
Thank you for your sincere interest in our Bell & Evans turkeys. Unfortunately from time to time it is possible the fed administered to the turkeys may have gluten or gluten traces. I am sorry for any inconvenience regarding this .

Sincerely Theresa Hylton

Now I wonder if this pertains to the chickens as well. I have an email in to find out. I'll report back when I hear.
