Hi,

I am wondering how long a typical gluten reaction
lasts. My 3 year-old daughter has been having a
reaction since Monday, today is now the 6th day. I am
suspecting that she must have had something on Sunday.

On Sunday, I gave her some cake with Duncan Hines
Homestyle canned frosting and Cake Mate Decorating
Icing which are listed in the CSA/USA Shopping Guide
as being ok. Has anyone heard otherwise? There is also
the possiblity that she is still getting something
with gluten in it. I see no signs of things getting
better. I have eliminated Lactaid milk since I heard
it may be questionable. I also wonder if she could be
having some other type of problem in addition to
celiac disease. How does one tell? She has had
terrible diarrhea about 2 times a day and they are
large amounts and very terrible smelling. Any
suggestions?

Thanks.

Laurie
