Hi There

I know that there are not many out there but there are some of us who
respond allergically to wheat/gluten as well as being celiac. This means
that there is an immediate allergic reaction to wheat/gluten. For example,
my lips, tongue and mouth feel numb and I get breathless as soon as I come
into contact with gluten. This is usually through contamination or
touching it by mistake. I have formed a group at yahoo groups called
CeliacAllergy, it is for people experiencing this to get together and pool
information and support.

This group is not meant for celiacs who want to tell us that we are not
celiac and that our reaction is impossible! It is however for
other "normal" celiacs that are interested in finding out more or providing
information.
