I have been a Celiac diagnosed by biopsy 5 years ago when I was 47
years old. This followed 5 years of not quite feeling myself, but
not really that sick, and many, many medical tests. A vitamin study
finally lead the way to the final diagnoses when it was discovered I
was dangerously low in Vit B-12,
folic acid and iron. Like many others I was appalled by the lack of
information available from the medical community or other celiacs in
my area. I set about getting all the education I could, mostly from
a friend in England, and I am now the designated resource person for
three state. It is my goal to see that others do not have to go
through what I did trying to get health.
