My daughter will be having her first gluten-free birthday next week.
She will be 7. Does anyone have advice? We will have about 15 to 20
children. I was thinking about having a regular cake for the others
and baking a small gf version for my daughter. Has anyone tried
this approach? I don't want to stigmatize my daughter by making her
feel different from the others, but I also don't think I could make a
large cake that holds together well. (I'm on a small Spanish island
and don't have access to all these gums and things I see mentioned on
the list.) Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Lynn
