Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a good month! Our plans of going to Tony Roma's fell
apart. They do not have a gluten-free menu. Carol wrote the headquarters
but it sounds like they will not be ready with one until year-end! I
called to see if I could work through the menu and get some safe items for
us but the regional manager was out, the cook is on vacation and the
manager did not want to make a decision.

I went to the Olive Garden at the mall and spoke with the manager. Chris
gave me their gf menu and although it's limited, it will do in a time
crunch! It's also close to where we had planned to go so I think this will
be o.k. The items we have to choose from are salads (garden or caesar) and
the following entrees: Tuscan Sirloin, Pork Filettino and Grilled Salmon.
If these don't sound appealing, then meet me there a little earlier than
our planned time and we can work out something, using their standard menu,
with the manager.

I'm thinking of PF Changs for July. They have a GF Menu and the atmosphere
looks great! It's at Phillip's Place so it's central to all. We need to
make reservations 2 weeks in advance so I'll be asking for rsvp's earlier
for July. Also, I stopped at Bucca diBeppo's and although they do not have
gf menu, the manager was very willing to create some dishes just for us. He
was even receptive to my bringing a safe flour and rice noodles). Also,
Kate said Carrabus is open earlier on Saturdays and they have a GF menu
too. So think about these choices. Also, if you have time to research and
talk to some restaurant managers, that would be wonderful! We probably
need to start getting a few restaurants in the pipe line.
