Hi Everyone:

I thought it would be fun to post a recipe for onion rings in which my non
celiac husband made for us last night. It has been so long since I had onion
rings. They are a rare treat. He sure made a great batch.

Onion Rings

l Large onion peeled and sliced
2 cups of Sylvan Border or mixed flour recipe of gluten free status
Milk added to make a thin batter. Pour slowly until you reach a consistency
that is not too thin nor too thick
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 egg
1tsp of GF Baking Powder

Get GF oil hot in skillet pan and add onion/coated mixture to pan. Fry until
golden brown. Mmmmmmm enjoy the taste of onion rings once lost.

There is little difference between the regular ones and Gf. You can add your
own seasonings and make some real gourmet onion rings. This is what can be
fun about this diet.

Take care and enjoy!!!!!!
