Dear List,

First I wanted to thank everyone for their assistance with my friend's
celiac day event.

So many people wrote asking when, where, and if they could help.
Truly wonderful, and it was nice to show someone from outside the
community how we can work together.

Now for the info:

Where:
Wild Oats Community Market
6621 W. 119th St
Overland Park, KS. 66213
(913) 663-2951  FAX: (913) 663-2968

What:
Celiac Day. Lots of great all-natural GF foods available for
sampling and taste testing. Plus some GF literature, recipes, and
a list of items available through the store to ease shopping.
Either lecture or cooking demonstration (call the store for details).
Sampling will run from about 11:00-3:00 pm.

Liz also wanted me to thank the list for their help with organizing the
event. She hopes to be able to do this again (more time for better
planning) sometime in the next few months. If you go, say hi to Liz,
and let her know if you think another event will be helpful to you, and
what you'd like to see in it, even give suggestions for GF products.

Finally, a special thanks to Wendy Percival for her direction and input;
Stephanie from Pamela's for their offer of samples for the event;
Joyce Luschen from the KC support group; Helen Richards from the Omaha,
MO support group.

You guys are the greatest.

Gwynneth in Boston

PS: I have no financial connection to either Wild Oats, or Pamela's
Products.
