Dear Listmates: I would like to summarize again regarding my trip to
Long Island and Caffe Baldo. Before I visited the Caffe, I received
mixed reviews. So I wanted to find out for myself as I was heading to
New Jersey anyway. After my post, I still am receiving mixed feelings,
some agreeing with me, others Not. I just want to clarify this again.
Long Islanders are very lucky to have a restaurant they can go to for
GF/WF foods. Living in Pa. I guess I am not used to LI prices.
I paid the price and enjoyed the food. Not everyone likes the same
things., celiac or otherwise. The owner was friendly and gracious and
accomodating as I did mention earlier. I did not tell people not to go
that it was a bad place. I am sure he will not loose any of his
customers, maybe gain some with all this publicity. So he should be very
greatful as I have people writing and wanting to go there. I spent $75.
in his restaurant, so it wasn't just a pizza. Hope this clarifies this
situation.
